Developed a game in less than a month

This is my game Hoarder, in just a couple of weeks I could create a small game, that is in a decent state. This isn't by any means a full developed game, but I am really happy about the result.


Game Play

The main loop of the game consist in selecting a place to attack, send the units, buy the necesary resources and pass the day.
Every unit needs food for going to combat, and also a little amount if it is idle in the castle.
When the battle are finished you will get a summary of how it went, how many units came back, and how much loot you gathered.
The main goal of the game is that you accumulate the bigest amount of gold you can before the 120 days pass.
You can also upgrade your castle and unblock better units.


Development

The game was developed with Unity and using assets of the asset store, as art is not my forte. All the code was made by myself. The idea was to see how much can you achieve while being short of time and resources.
All the interfaces and the animation design has made by me, working with Unity's default tools. And I worked a couple of hours a day at most.

Future

For now the game will be free for anyone who want to play it, and if people like it I may add new updates with more content and also to fix any bugs that may be found.
I will continue to make small games and participate in jams, also I have a big project I would like to continue to work on.
